Telemedicine is defined as “the use of electronic information and communications technologies to provide and support health care when distance separates the participants.” (National Academy of Sciences, 1996)

Dr. Danett Bean (Doctor of Acupuncture and Asian Medicine), affectionately called Dr. Danett, is a caring and compassionate healer who began studying health in the early nineties. Though Dr. Danett’s clinical experience is vast, her biggest health lesson came after having her son. Dr. Danett battled health conditions for years that almost took her life, but she survived victoriously and became passionate about spreading awareness on postnatal depletion. This resulted in the authoring of her book, A Taste of Our Own Medicine: 3 Vital Keys to Ending Postnatal Depletion. The intersection of preventive care and women’s health is where Dr. Danett feels most passionate, and is why she continues to be a fierce advocate for ending postnatal depletion and other conditions that can potentially be avoided.
