What Is Qigong?

Qi Gong (氣功) is a traditional Chinese practice that combines gentle movement, breathing, and focused intention to cultivate balance and vitality.

The Four R’s of Moving with the Seasons

Restoration · Renewal · Radiance · Release

As part of the Get Your Qi On! Method, we honor the truth that our bodies, like nature, move in cycles. By practicing Qi Gong with the rhythm of the seasons, you can restore balance, strengthen your energy, and support your hormonal health throughout the year. I call this the Four R’s of Moving with the Seasons — a simple, powerful way to stay in harmony as the year unfolds.

Winter: Restoration, Kidney, strength

Spring: Renewal, Liver, emotional balance

Summer: Radiance, Heart, energy expansion

Fall: Releasing, Lungs, immune support

🍂 Current Series: Fall Releasing (Oct 11 – Dec 13)

This season we focus on the Lungs — taking in what is needed and releasing anything that doesn't serve well-being.

Danett C. Bean is a Doctor of Acupuncture & Asian Medicine, New York State licensed acupuncturist, women’s health specialist, author, and speaker with over 20 years of experience helping women balance hormones, address fibroids, and thrive through perimenopause, menopause, and beyond.

Certified in Earth Qi Gong for Women and trained in multiple Qi Gong styles,

Dr. Danett has been teaching Qi Gong since 2009. During the COVID-19 pandemic, when in-person healing work was paused, she created her Keeping It In Harmony series to continue supporting women virtually. That work has since evolved into Get Your Qi On!, her own method of healing that blends the gentle movements of Qi Gong with affirmations, seasonal wisdom, and insights from decades of clinical experience into a holistic practice designed especially for women.

Her compassionate teaching style makes ancient practices feel accessible, restorative, and deeply relevant for today’s women.
