I am sooo glad that National Women’s Health Week exists and is HERE!!
The NWHW mission of helping women to prioritize their health is a top priority and my life’s work. Generally, we know that we want good health, but that doesn’t matter so much without action.
NWHW is helping women take action by “taking a pledge” (by age group
), and by offering a list of healthy activities to integrate in to their lives. I love that there is so much emphasis on preventive care, which is vital for good health. We all know that women at different stages have different needs. Its especially great to see how NWHW thinks about these needs, by having women click on the age group that applies to them in order to learn specific health solutions.
So with that said, I’d like to share my pledge for the week…
• Go to bed by 11pm… even though there are always more things to do
• Drink half my weight in fluid ounces of room temperature water
• Exercise outdoors
